Ashley and Matt had a fabulous Venuti’s Addison Wedding at the end of October with the last of the fall color. We started the day at The Westin Chicago Northwest for intimate getting ready moments with family and friends. My favorite moment was the first time Ashley’s father saw her all dressed and ready for the big day. It was so sweet! From there we all went outside for family and wedding pictures with the fall color and beautifully landscaped hotel areas before we headed off to Venuti’s for more family portraits and the wedding events!
I asked Ashley and Matt how they felt about doing a first look, as some couples are a little hesitant that it will take away from the wedding ceremony. Ashley told me:
“Laura recommended the first look photo and I’m so glad she did. It was such a special moment and allowed us to get a lot of photos done before the ceremony which meant more time to enjoy ourselves at the wedding. I was hesitant to do it, but I still had lots of butterflies (and tears) walking down the aisle towards him a few hours later.”
Before we knew it the time had come to get married! Wedding days go by so quickly that is why it is important to hire professionals to capture all the memories and moments for you to cherish forever. Both Ashley and Matt’s favorite moment was from the ceremony!! Ashley said her favorite memory from the wedding day was: “Listening to the vows that Matt wrote for me… for a second there, I wasn’t sure who I was marrying! He absolutely blew me away with all his promises and sweet words.” Matt said his favorite memory was: “Seeing Ashley walk down the aisle!!” So sweet!!
Ashley and Matt’s wedding day was so much fun, everyone dancing, laughing, and having a blast at this Venuti’s Addison Wedding celebration of two high school sweethearts!! Congratulations Ashley and Matt!! I wish you nothing but love and laughter as you being your happily ever after. Thank you for choosing me to capture your special day!
