Deer Path Inn Lake Forest Wedding Photographer captures a classic and beautiful November wedding, filled with football, friends, and family and love and laughter all around!
I was so excited to photograph at the Deer Path Inn in historic Lake Forest! Jamie and Bobby were just the cutest couple. Both very laid back BIG TIME football fans, a well-matched pair, even if they cheered for opposing teams! I love that they incorporated so much about themselves and what they wanted into the day. From deer to football, everything tied together in a classy but fun way! Even with less than ideal weather, this couple was nothing but smiles all day. Which is fantastic because there is nothing you can do about the weather and this time of year can be fickle here in Chicago. No matter what we have a terrific plan for pictures and their “go with the flow” attitude made things go that much smoother! After a beautiful church wedding ceremony, we braved a few pictures outside and then headed to Deer Path Inn to do photography inside the newly remodeled venue. The wedding party, family and the friendly staff at Deer Path Inn, as well as a terrific team of vendors working together, made this day unforgettable. I asked Jamie and Bobby what their most memorable moment from the wedding was and they replied:
Bobby said, “his knee slide when we were dancing.” Jamie said, “our entrance with the jock jams song and our football gloves.”
When I asked Jamie and Bobby if they could change anything or have anything else that they wanted to share they told me that they wished their reception would have been longer as it was just so much fun. They were also said what impressed them the most is how everyone, all the vendors, worked so well together. It was like one giant happy family. They said that I kept them on time and got every shot we wanted and was always thinking of what would work for us and even for the videographer. Thanks, Jamie and Bobby!!
