As a Ovation Chicago Wedding Photographer I was very excited to capture the memories of Jeanette and Chip’s unique October wedding. They had reserved the amazing visions of one of my favorite event coordinators, Alison, from Designed and Detailed Event Planning. Together they created a very special wedding celebration. I loved that they incorporated so much of their personal style and personalities into the wedding day details, including the love of technology. During the ceremony all the wedding guests lite up their cell phones to sign light of love onto the couple during the ring exchange. It was so beautiful! Like stars sparkling across the dark room!
Starting the day off we did portraits at the chic Ace Hotel in the west loop of Chicago. We were able to access their rooftop for some Chicago Skyline pictures. Then we headed over to Goose Island to meet up with all the friends, aka unofficial wedding party. We did some pictures outside and inside of Goose Island Brewery. Such a fun Chicago spot! Ovation Chicago is a wonderful and unique wedding venue. It includes a personalized ride for thirty minutes in their vintage personally chauffeured 1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. (and I got to ride in it too!!:) They took us to a new fun spot with some cool colorful graffiti.
Before we knew it, it was time to head back to Ovation for the wedding ceremony and party! After an intimate ceremony and some family portraits we were ready to celebrate. There is no better way to celebrate then to have Chicago Food Truck Hub cater your wedding night feast! Also have to thank Little Shop on the Prairie for the pretty florals. Style Matters DJ and The Bartend Group for such great drinks and entertainment. Such a fun wedding celebration! Congratulations Jeanette and Chip!! I wish you nothing but love and laughter as you begin your happily ever after!
