Winter weddings are so pretty, and we got super lucky with some fresh snow for Sarah and Greg’s Riverside Receptions Geneva wedding day! We started the day with some reception detail pictures and an intimate first look at the Herrington Hotel in Geneva. I was happy that Sarah and Greg were brave enough to do some pictures outside, even with the cold temps!! After some quick wedding photos, it was time to head to church to get married!!
Sarah and Greg were married at Baker Memorial Church in downtown St Charles. It is a beautiful church, inside and out, which was perfect to capture some additional formal portraits before and after the ceremony with family and wedding party. I just loved all the children at this wedding, so many expressive faces and excitement seeing their auntie and uncle get married!!
After church, it had just started to snow, so we headed back towards Riverside Receptions Geneva wedding pictures of the happy couple at dusk. It was sooooo pretty and some of my favorite moments from the wedding day. I had some great umbrellas for the couple to use as props and to keep some of the snow off of them. However, we were having such a good time, getting snowy didn’t seem to bother any of us!! Before long it was time to arrive for the celebration at Riverside Receptions Geneva. The room was set up with candles and white and green florals everywhere. Romanic and beautiful, so perfect it made Sarah tear up!! Music by Design would take over to make the evening party fun and the dance floor was full all night long! It was such a pleasure to be a part of your wedding day. Congratulations Sara and Greg!! I wish you nothing but LOVE and LAUGHTER as you begin your happily ever after!
