Danielle and Michael had a beautiful summer wedding at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. We have had a lot of rain, so everything was green and lush for some beautiful portraits and outdoor ceremony on the gorgeous grounds of the Hyatt Lodge. I LOVE it when couples plan for everything to happen at the same location. Danielle and Michael planned to get ready, have the wedding portraits, ceremony, and party at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook and the day was perfect!! Danielle was stunning and Michael was grinning from ear to ear as two best friends became partners for life. I asked Danielle and Micheal a few questions about the wedding and the planning process. I am so excited to share everything with you (and more importantly them) before they leave to have a fun and relaxing honeymoon!! I hope you enjoy the story of your day in pictures!!
Getting Ready
The First Look and Private Couple Portraits
Danielle’s favorite part of the wedding day was the first look. She loved the butterflies she got right before she saw Michael for the first time and surprising him with her dress. Danielle also loved sneaking away to take sunset photos. At first, Danielle was hesitant, but it was such a great time to pause and take a step back with Michael to reflect on their day while getting some awesome pictures!!

The Wedding Portraits
The Outdoor Ceremony
The Party!!
Michael’s favorite part of the wedding day was the first dance because the song that they picked summed up their relationship and reflected them as a couple.
I love to sneak away with the couple as the sun is setting or once dusk arrives to capture some evening portraits of them. It also gives the couple a few minutes to be together alone on the wedding day.
A big THANK YOU to all the amazing wedding professionals that made Danielle and Micheal’s wedding day unforgettable!!
The staff at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook McDonald’s Campus for making last minute changes and having a day and evening run so smoothly, and for treating us (the photo/video team) so wonderfully. You are truly one of the best venues we have ever worked at. Danielle also told me that “My advice is always to ask for help and never try to organize your special day on your own. Although we didn’t hire a wedding coordinator, we were lucky to have several adults and vendors jump in and take away some of our stresses. For example, we asked our aunt to make sure everything was in place and we provided her with a little diagram of my vision. This way, Michael and I didn’t have to worry about anything but getting ready. Also, we allowed the hotel staff to set up our decorations and essentials as well such as our menus, place cards, table numbers, etc. When we knew we had so many people helping set up, it took a lot of stress away on the day of.”
The beautiful florals made by Danielle’s sister, Jeanine Zyzda and the wonderful fun entertainment by the band Out of Control. I really enjoyed working with Rhys Media and very excited to see how the wedding video comes together. Of course, my favorite photobooth provided by Aguado Photography. It was a wonderful wedding, Danielle and Michael put it best “we were SO thrilled and proud of how everything went on our big day. :)”
Congratulations Danielle and Michael! We wish you love and laughter and a very long happily ever after! Have a wonderful honeymoon, I am so much looking forward to sharing the rest of your wedding memories and creating your wedding keepsake album for you when you return. Bon Voyage!! <3
