Hilton Orrington Evanston Wedding by Laura Meyer Photography a Chicago Wedding Photographer.
Hilton Orrington Evanston Wedding with Tracey and John who are just the sweetest couple and had a picture perfect day for their wedding. Starting with a church wedding celebration at St. Athanasius Parish and followed by wedding portraits at the beautiful Evanston Lighthouse Beach, which offers beautiful floral and greenery as well as some beach and lakefront backgrounds. Lighthouse Beach is one of my favorite locations in the area for portraits and amazing light!! The party at the Hilton Orrington Evanston was off the charts!! Fun being had by all and an always full dance floor. I am sure there are a lot of fun memories that will be laughed about when all the guest get to view the entire gallery soon! Please enjoy a little peek at the story of their day with some advice and memories shared by the couple before they saw these pictures. Tracey and John, Congratulations!! We wish you nothing but love and laughter as you begin your happily ever after.
The bride Tracey shared “My favorite moment was walking down the aisle and getting to see John for the first time. It was an amazing feeling to have so many people who love and support us both watching as saw each other for the first time in church. I also loved each speech from our family and friends that showed how loved and supported we are by each and every person there.”
The Groom John shared “my favorite moment from the wedding day was exiting the church for the first time as husband and wife. It was a beautiful day, and everyone was cheering for us as we walked down the aisle.”
Tracey and John would love to share some great advice:
“Take it all in. Every couple told us their wedding was a blur so we wanted to be sure to try and be different. John’s cousin (and usher) had suggested that John take several moments to pull me to the side and just take in the amazing day. Our day was beyond perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing. The only suggestion I would offer would be since we thought about (and probably over thought) every detail of the day, one moment we did not plan was the cake cutting. When we got up there, we were a little clueless about where to cut the cake so we cut the smallest piece ever. It was still fun but it might have been nice to have known where and how to cut. Luckily Laura was right there to help out!!”
Tracey wanted to share: “The day was perfection and in huge part due to the help and support of our wedding planner/day of coordinator Erin Ivory. Erin was everywhere throughout the day and made everything flow seamlessly. Having her around made it easier for John and I to enjoy our day and not worry about any small details. A huge shout out to our florist Sarah from Four Finches. The entire team put together the most breathtaking displays for the bouquets, the table arrangements and more. Also the band Upbeat Orchestra did a great job of getting and keeping the whole crowd out on the dance floor for the whole party.”
Also special thanks to the amazing team that came together to make this wedding so special!!
