Acquaviva Winery wedding, a beautiful summer vineyard wedding in DeKalb, IL.

I was so excited to capture this sweet couple’s wedding day, a vintage 1940’s style wedding complete with an amazing vintage car and details of old movie stars and historical people from this era.The celebration took place at Acquaviva Winery in Maple Park, just outside of Dekalb, IL. It was simply perfect, not to mention at a winery!! When I asked the couple what was their favorite moment from the wedding day they answered the same. It was the ceremony. The groom Ken’s answer was the moment when we were holding hands facing each other in the front of the church during the ceremony. The bride Cleary’s answer was when she stood in front of the church and looked up into Ken’s smiling loving eyes. This was true love at last, and this couple traveled all the way from Australia to tie the knot with family and friends in the brides original home town. It was an honor to be a part of your special day and I wish you nothing but love and happiness as you begin your happily ever after!!
