Jordan and Jeffery’s wedding at the new Naperville venue Elements on Water Street and Hotel Indigo. Which both were simply stunning and modern with views of the Naperville Riverwalk and convenience of having the hotel attached to the venue for getting ready on the wedding day and all the guests who needed a place to stay. We started with the bride and groom for getting ready, then headed to the Church for the wedding ceremony. Both Jordan and Jeffery were equally excited to see each other for the first time at church, traditionally as Jordan walked with her father down the aisle and met Jeffery’s anxious eyes. Adorable!
The day was magical, amazing June weather and sunshine for a picture perfect wedding day at the Naperville Riverwalk! We spent some time with family and the wedding party to capture some formal portraits. Then we let them go to the cocktail hour so I could get some more intimate and relaxed portraits of the bride and groom. It was easy with such a stunning couple and a perfect day!! Before we knew it, the time to party had arrived! The evening began with some dancing and a fantastic entertainment from Greenlight Band. Such wonderful florals from Forget Me Knot Flowers that provided stunning florals for the attendants and decor for the room. Such organization and helpfulness from 2 Sisters Events and Decor with day of coordination. Not to mention the Hair and Makeup Artists Stella Mikhail, Juan Jose Herrera and Monique Justine that provided beautiful artistry for the bride and all the ladies in the wedding party! Such a perfect wedding day for an adorable couple of High School Sweethearts. <3
Jordan and Jeffery told me that they wouldn’t have changed a thing about their wedding day and offered this advice to other couples getting married and planning a wedding: “Soak in every moment of the day. It goes by in the blink of an eye, so enjoy it! Also, make sure that you do everything that BOTH OF YOU want to do. Don’t let anyone change something if it’s important to you.” Such great advice and so very true!! After all it is YOUR wedding day, so together as a couple, you should do whatever feels right for you both. There are no rules to play by, make your day special and uniquely yours!!
