It was love at first sight for Jenny and Tom and I was so excited to be a part of their wedding day, capturing all the memories and moments for them as they begin their happily ever after. I love it when couples get ready at the homes that they grew up in, with adorable childhood pictures and memories all around. Jenny and Tom planned a more traditional wedding, with bride and groom getting ready separately and a church ceremony at All Saints Lutheran Church in Orland Park, officiated by a family friend from the church who knew the families well. After church, it was time to celebrate on the trolley with beer and champagne and some chilly but beautiful sunset pictures in the historic downtown Lemont area. From there it was time to join the family and friends for a fantastic party and dancing the night away.

Congratulations Jenny and Tom, I wish you nothing but love and laughter as you begin your happily ever after!!

“We decided to do a sweetheart table instead of a traditional head table for dinner, and I loved that we got to have that time just the two of us. We were able to reflect back on the ceremony and the day leading up to dinner, laugh about all the fun that had happened so far, and soak up all of our guests enjoying their night that we put a lot of time and effort into. It was the perfect opportunity to have our alone time and celebrate our new marriage in a more intimate setting.”

ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES

” Plan your wedding how YOU want it to be. It’s inevitable to get opinions from family members, friends, etc. (and while they mean well, it’s your day!), but ultimately, do what makes you happy and satisfies the vision that you have. We planned our wedding exactly how we wanted it from venue to guest list to decor, and we are so happy that the night turned out exactly how wanted and fit our style.”
