Nicole and John had a picture-perfect Spring Ravisloe Country Club Wedding! We started the afternoon off at Ravisloe Country Club with a private first look between John and Nicole in the courtyard before having the wedding party join us for some fun portraits before heading off to church. John told me that his favorite part of the wedding day was the first look. He said this was his favorite part of the wedding day “since we got to see each other in a more private setting than in the church. Turning around and seeing her was the most emotional part for me.” He also told me that he liked doing the wedding party photos then as well, “it was nice to have the core group together before everything got started.”
After some fun, we were off to the church for the wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful and personal mass! I just love how John is smiling at his beautiful bride like he IS the luckiest man in the world! There was no shortage of smiles or love on this wedding day!
After church, we headed back to Ravisloe and I was able to do some portraits with just Nicole and John. I really enjoyed this time, it was during the first half of cocktail hour and we were able to walk around in the beautiful early evening sunshine to capture some romantic private portraits. Nicole and John both told me that they enjoyed this time together as well. You don’t always get much time alone together, so when it is possible I love to take couples out for a few minutes. We finished the portrait time with a quick wave from the balcony down at all the guests who were enjoying the outdoor cocktail hour before John and Nicole joined them!
Ravisloe weddings are some of my favorites to photograph. As a photographer, I am a chaser of light. The light at Nicole and John’s wedding was a dream! Even in the dining room, the light is perfect, windows everywhere!
Nicole and John were amazing, they let me take them out again after dinner and before the dancing began. These images are straight out of my camera. REALLY, that is how amazing the last evening sunlight was. Such a blessing to be able to get these romantic portraits of them before the big party began.
As the evening was beginning to wrap up for the photographers, we asked Nicole and John if they would go out one last time for the sunset and then again at dusk for a beautiful night portrait. I am sooooo glad that they were up to going out a few times for some stunning portraits. Congratulation!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day! I wish you nothing but LOVE and LAUGHTER as you begin your happily ever after!
These are truly amazing. Of course beautiful couple but your photos are stunning.
