I was very excited to capture another Ravisloe Golf Club wedding as this is one of my favorite venues in the Chicago suburbs!! It is like a little gem in south suburbs, like it was plucked out of Spain. If you add a stunning couple and fun wedding party, it is a combination for the perfect wedding day!!
We started the day with some getting ready moments, and some fun pictures with the gals and guys separately at the La Banque Hotel in Homewood. We did some confetti poppers and some intimate moments with mom and Jessica’s sister getting ready before going down to the lobby so Jessica’s Father could see her all done up for this very important day. It was beautiful. Robert and the guys were having fun in the bar and then headed over the the club to get ready for pictures.
I encouraged Jessica and Robert to do a first look, so we can utilize the grounds of Ravisloe for pictures and they could enjoy their party! They agreed and had zero regrets, they actually told me it made the day even more special and really enjoyed being able to spend cocktail hour with all the family and friends that came to celebrate them!!The wedding day was perfect! Thank you so much Jessica and Robert for allowing us to capture your memories. I hope you enjoy them for a lifetime to come. Congratulations and best wishes as you begin this adventure together as husband and wife!!
Both Jessica and Robert agreed, that the most memorable moment from their Ravisloe Golf Club wedding day was: “Exchanging our own vows. We both agreed early on that we wanted to write our own vows and I couldn’t be happier that we actually followed through with it! Even though we were in front of 175 people it was the most intimate moment of the wedding for us. Jessica said she felt like all the emotion and anticipation that slowly built throughout the day was released and was able to tell Rob exactly what she needed him to know on their wedding day. “
Jessica and Robert offer this advice “Our advice to couples getting married is to constantly remind yourself the real reason for the day – to celebrate your love and get married! It is so easy to get caught up in the stress of all the details, but there is nothing that could go wrong that will change the fact that you have each other!” I couldn’t agree more, such wonderful advice!!
Jessica and Robert’s only regret was not eating more of the dessert table and late night snacks!! They did look yummy, great job Sugar Path Bakery!!
