As Patrick Haley Mansion Joliet Wedding Photographer I was very excited for Kendal and Kyle’s July wedding.
It was a beautiful July day for a wedding. Even with a 17-minute rain delay before the ceremony, the couple was still able to get married outside as they dreamed. It was fitting as this groom is a huge Chicago Cubs fan and last October a 17 minute rain delay happened right before the Cubs won the World Series. As the best man would later say that Kyle has had two 17 minute rain delays that would forever change his life!!
Patrick Haley Mansion is a historic and classy venue in the South Chicago Suburbs. It is so beautiful and the bridal suite is my favorite getting ready room for any bride, with soft floral wallpaper that is simple and pretty andoh-so-feminine. The outdoor area for ceremonies is lush and green with lovely flowers planted to accent the alter pergola. There is really no need to go anywhere else for pictures as there are so many great places both inside and outside of Patrick Haley Mansion for all the wedding party and family portraits on the wedding day. Kendal and Kyle chose to do all their portraits before the ceremony, so they could enjoy every second of the party – something we always encourage couples to do. After all, it is your party and you should be at every single second enjoying yourself and mingling with your family and friends. This was definitely a party that you wouldn’t want to miss and why as a Patrick Haley Mansion Joliet Wedding Photographer it is one of my favorite Chicago Suburban Venues!
