WOW!! Medinah Country Club is simply a stunning venue and this wedding offers so much inspiration for a Chicago wedding. This was an amazing wedding at Medinah Country Club, such a beautiful fall day in Chicago, was one of my favorites from the season. Courtney and Chris did all their preparation in the city at the JW Marriott in Chicago. It was great to spend a little time with them before doing a first look right on La Salle Street by the Board of Trade, also known as dearly to us Chicagoans as “The Canyon.” We did a little tour of Chicago Favorites for wedding photographs, spending a couple hours going to amazing photo locations such as Millennium Park, The Art Institute Gardens and Franklin Street bridge on the Chicago river. It was then time to head to Assumption Catholic Church for the wedding ceremony, and then heading back into the suburbs for the reception and a few photos at Medinah Country Club, one of my FAVORITE and one of the prettiest venues in the Chicago Suburbs. They had beautiful florals done my Floral Gardens of Geneva and awesome entertainment from the wedding band Hey, Jimmy! The ballroom was unforgettably beautiful! Everything was perfect, smiles, laugher and love all around these two sweethearts. I hope you enjoy the story of Courtney and Chris’s wedding day.
