The Ivy Room Chicago Wedding :: Kelly + Bryant

Kelly and Bryant had an amazing Chicago Labor day weekend wedding. The weather was perfect, everything was running smoothly as planned, both Kelly and Bryant were surrounded by adoring family and friends making the day so special, you could not ask for a better day for a better couple! We started with preparation of the happy couple, with Kelly at the James hotel and Bryant at their nearby condo. So many amazing moments as Kelly prepared for the day, including getting ready with mom, a first look with her dad and brother followed by a first look with the lucky groom to be. I remember the buzz of excitement mixed with nervousness leaving the room as the bridesmaids headed down to the trolley to await for us. (The bride and groom were to have their first look in privacy and then to join the party on the trolley.) Kelly was looking in the mirror and all was quiet…just a moment before getting married and seeing her groom for the first time…and she said ” I just had this moment, this is how I look on my wedding day. ” It was such a tear jerking – nano second moment of the day, simple – yet very profound. After months and months of planning, this was it – it was time to celebrate and enjoy the day. Whatever it may bring, surrounded by all the people you care about the most. It reminded me how important and lucky my job is to be invited into couples lives for these once in a lifetime beautiful moments. The day went on with out a hitch, a beautiful celebration of two families becoming one – filled with love, laughter and happiness. It was perfect! Congratulations Kelly and Bryant – we wish you all the best and much congratulations.
