This past fall was amazing for me, I was able to open up my schedule due to many larger weddings and events moving to 2021 for their plans and I was able to photograph and find that I LOVE capturing inmate weddings. There is something special about smaller weddings, just the couple’s nearest and dearest family and friends gathering to celebrate love. Sharon and Glenn had an amazing day, I arrive to capture Sharon getting ready at the Morton Arboretum in the Thornhill building before the wedding ceremony. It was a rainy morning, but that didn’t matter to Sharon and Glenn. They had purchased many umbrellas and planned to have their ceremony in the Fragrance Gardens outside of Thornhill no matter what! How Fun. I love when couple’s take the day as it comes, rolls with anything that might be outside of the picture-perfect plan that they had envisioned, and just have a great time! The drizzley rain day gave a romantic soft look to everything outside and we were about to do the couple’s portraits in the small break from the rain which was great! They did a little dance outside before heading inside to the reception and family portraits and my day was over. I was just there to capture the most important part of the day the ceremony and portraits. It was wonderful and I wish Sharon and Glenn nothing but love and happiness as they begin their happily ever after!
