I was delighted to be asked to photograph Amanda and Patrick wedding at the beautiful Danada House in Naperville, I knew we would have an amazing time. I first met Amanda last year at a Holiday luncheon that my mother was having for some of her artist friends, Amanda’s Mother Julie and my mother are great friends. Amanda is one of the sweetest brides I have worked with, and I was excited to finally meet Patrick – who was so laid back and an all around great guy. Chicago was their destination wedding, so there were a lot of out of town guests, and everyone was having an amazing time at the wedding. Lots of laughter, a few good hearted tears and many stories were told, including how it all started with a ring and a pastry…. I started the day off with preparation photos of Amanda and Patrick, followed by a morning ceremony and afternoon reception all at the amazing Danada House, one of my personal favorite venues. We could not have asked for better weather, altho it was warm there was not a cloud in the sky – perfect for taking photos around the farm and then in Downtown Wheaton later that afternoon. I have so many favorite images from this wedding – but here are a few to tell the story of the day….congratulations Amanda and Patrick, I wish you much happiness as you begin your lives together!!
Laura, I am absolutely stunned. You are such an amazing photographer! These are beautiful and I can’t wait to see more of them. Every time I look at them I am overwhelmed with all the emotions I felt that day. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture those memories for Patrick and I!
