I had the most amazing time in Kalamazoo, Michigan at Kris and Cindy’s (aka Lucinda, aka Lucy;) wedding on August 20, 2010. Cindy and Kris attended  Anne and Brendan’s wedding last October and loved the photos…hired me over the phone and we met to discuss the wedding in Kalamazoo this past spring during their engagement session.  Right away, when I met Cindy and Kris I knew I was going to have an amazing time getting to know them and documenting their wedding day. They have so much love for each other, such kind and kindred hearts.  I started the day at the salon with Cindy and the bridesmaids…getting pretty for the big day. Then we headed over to the Kalamazoo Country Club to finish getting ready for an amazing day ahead. Cindy and Kris had agreed that seeing each other before the ceremony, doing ALL the photos (wedding party and family included) and then relaxing and enjoying their wedding celebration was the best time line for their wedding day. We had SO much time for wonderful photo opportunities of Kris and Cindy, we even had time to take a ride to the fabulous and scenic downtown Kalamazoo to explore and find interesting places with extraordinary light for unbelievable photos! I had a blast! After a couple of hours of photos with Kris and Cindy, it was time for wedding party and family photos….then a quick rest in the AC before the romantic sunset ceremony, followed by a rockin party! Angela and Rob tied the knot at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort on August 14th, 2010. I had an amazing time photographing their wedding. We started the day off with getting ready photos, I started with the bride, bridesmaids and the couples beautiful daughter…napping in the above photo, how cute! Christina started with the guys at the hotel, and then it was off to be married. The ceremony was beautiful, and with a bit of humor…then time to Party!! We headed back to the Marriott for some photos of the wedding  party before the cerebrating started, and this group was all about the smiles, laughter and good times…not to mention dancing the night away! I had an amazing time at the wedding, thank you Angela and Rob for inviting me to document your amazing celebration! Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

I was super excited to meet Milan and Susan for the first time at their engagement session this August, we had spent a lot of time talking about their upcoming September wedding on the phone, but it is not the same as spending face time with someone. The weather was absolutely perfect, a quite and wonderful Sunday Summer evening in Chicago. We choose to walk around Millennium Park for the session, mixing urban and beautiful nature settings….but also having a bit of fun! Everything was amazing, I learned all about Milan’s fabulous hockey team,  got to know Milan and Susan as a couple…they couldn’t be more sweet, a match made in heaven!! We talked all about the wedding and details…which got me super excited for the big day only a few weeks from today! I had the most amazing time photographing Danielle and Bill’s engagement session in August. Altho, I think we might have picked the hottest evening of the entire summer to have the session, it did not stop us from laughing and having a blast! You can really feel the connection between Danielle and Bill, as they teased each other, laughed, snuggled and expressed their love… you can feel the heat between them…lol! I had so much fun exploring the downtown Naperville area with Danielle and Bill, and I am soooo excited for their wedding this coming October!!

Holly and Randy were married on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in early August, everything was perfect for their big day. I started off the morning at Holly’s Parents house for getting ready photos before heading over to the club for all the family photos pre ceremony. The ceremony was held under the shade of perfectly aged oak trees. After the ceremony we explored the grounds of the club with the wedding party, finding amazing places for photos…and taking advantage of the warm evening sunset for magnificent light. Then it was time to move indoors for the reception, the room was classic, flawless centerpieces, beautiful large windows, a terrific band to perform while everyone danced the night a way….it so much fun!! Thank you Holly and Randy for inviting me to document your special day, I wish you so much happiness as you begin your lives together! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day., enjoy!!

Photo Booth FUN!!!!

Grace’s Father Ben built this photo booth for the wedding, and it was the conversation piece all night long. It looked amazing!! Thanks to Chris and Cande, my fabulous assistants for doing such a great job running the photo booth all night and entertaining the guests.
