The weather this fall in Chicago has been AMAZING!! Last week I received a call from a new family wishing to squeeze in for a family portrait this season with their one year old twins. Normally I am finished taking outdoor sessions by Halloween weekend, but since the weather was 70 degrees having one last session of the year was defiantly doable.  I love being outdoors when we are blessed with fantastic weather – and what a fabulous family! The twins were SO CUTE…and very interested in exploring all of the park, we played in the leaves and had a blast!! Here are some of my favorites – what a beautiful family…enjoy!!

Last weekend I met with Family D for a family portrait session at my favorite location Fullersburg woods in Oak Brook. It was a brisk morning, but we warmed it up with some fun photos – and who could resist this adorable 4 year old baseball player -  chuck taylors and all!! I had a great time goofing around with this amazing family, singing silly slogans and laughing – and capturing some great photos along the way…here are some of my favorites – enjoy!!

The weather in Chicago was fabulous this past Halloween weekend!! Perfect for a fall family session with family “M”.  Sometimes it is hard to get the little ones to stay still, smile at the camera for that perfect photo- they just want to run and play. LMP philosophy – let’s play!! The less restrictive we are the more likely we will get the great smiles, laughter and expressions that make for great photos! In between playing, exploring and warming up to me and the camera we get great little moments for photos. It’s important to have fun! We did just that at family “m”‘s portrait session and got some really wonderful photos of the girls. Here are some of my favorites…enjoy!

Fall is my favorite time for family and children Portraiture, and we had a beautiful and windy fall day for family “R”‘s pictures. “J” was a little shy at first, but then we had a great time… and of course some of her new little brother…so cute!! I love photographing younger children and families at my favorite forest preserve, as there is so many great spots for exploring and of course for photos. Last weekend I did a extended family photography session for some of my extended family, organized by by fabulous cousin Karen for my aunt Grace’s surprise Birthday present.  It was so great to see all my cousins and all my little second cousins, as too much time goes by in between our visits and everyone is growing up soooo fast!! We did a ton of photos at the fabulous Fullersburg Woods in Oak Brook, but these are some of my favorites.  Enjoy!!

Recently I had the opportunity to photography this adorable family at my favorite family photo location in Oak Brook, Fullersburg Woods. We had an amazing October afternoon for photos!  Such beautiful children, after a little bit of warming up to me, there were smiles all around. At the beginning of October I had the opportunity to meet with this fabulous family for some fun Autumn family portraits in a beautiful area of Chicago, Lincoln Park. We could not have asked for a more perfect afternoon! With all members of the family included we set off to explore the area and find some fabulous locations for some family photos. I have to say, we made it for a little over an hour with no tears – just smiles, laughter and exploring and of course lots of fun photos – simply fantastic! I had an amazing time getting to know this beautiful family, here are some of my favorite photos – the little one with the red hair is such a scream, both boys personalities really shine in these photos, what a great session!
