Meghan and Steve had their engagement session at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle on a beautiful October afternoon. We had planned for this session two other times and had to reschedule do to some really bad weather, so I was very excited that we were given such an amazing day for photos. This was the peak weekend for color at the arboretum, there were so many places for us to explored together. We started out by the beautiful Lake Marmo and then headed to the west trails for some fabulous yellow and red colors.  I had such a great time talking with and getting to know Steve and Meghan, they are such a sweet couple.  I am very excited for their wedding next July in Chicago!!

Christine and Michael were married on October 9th at the beautiful Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont. It was a day full of fabulous smiles, not even a rain storm could stop this happy couple from smiling. We had a blast taking photos before the ceremony, the rain stopped during the ceremony which was perfect timing for the ceremonial dove release. We were blessed with great light for outdoor family photos and a more fun and creative bridal party photos and then the most beautiful sunset for some romantic photos of Michael and Christine. Then it was time to party! The reception was so beautiful, ever detail was planned by Michael and Kehoe Designs, where Michael works….simply stunning. Here are some of my favorites, enjoy!!

Anne and Brendan were married on October 3rd at the fabulous James Hotel in Chicago. What a fun couple!! Anne and Brendan met at a radio station in college, so they decided to have their first look at  Reckless Records in Chicago.  It was so suiting and so much fun!!! The t was off in a cab for some photo fun around the city, nothing was going to stop us…not even the rain. We did the bridal party photos in the beautiful Art Institute Gardens before heading back to the James for more photo fun and then a rest before the Ceremony…and then a lively and fun party with not a detail over looked. I had a great time with Anne and Brendan, here are some of my favorites from the day.

Renee and Jeff are such a fun couple, I had a blast photographing their wedding at the beautiful Marriott in Burr Ridge. They had a perfect sunset ceremony and then we did some quick photos around the grounds of the Marriott. Everything was planned perfectly, and so many fabulous details. Once the party began, it was non stop laughter and dancing!! I had so much fun photographing this wedding, and have to give a great big thanks to the other fabulous vendors that helped make the night perfect!! Becky and Mark were married at the lovely Silver Lakes Country Club in Orland Park last weekend….it was a beautiful, short and ever so sweet sunset ceremony followed by a fabulous reception. Everyone was dancing and having a great time, it was so much fun! There were so many wonderful moments, here are a few of my favorites……also here is a slideshow if you want to see more…..enjoy!!!

Becky and Mark wedding is such a great example of why I <3 my second shooter. We had only fifteen minutes to capture all the amazing moments that were unfolding during the ceremony. Brianne (my fantastic second shooter) shot the image above at the same moment I shot the image below from the top of the hill……the images compliment each other so well……Love it!!!

Karen and Gabe were married on March 27th at the Chateau bu Sche on the South side of Chicago on a beautiful March evening. There were so many wonderful moments between the families, Karen and Gabe with their two beautiful children, and all the family that came to celebrate.  Gabe’s Mother and siblings came in from Ireland to celebrate the joyful event, there was live music and fun dancing well into the night. I had the opportunity to shoot with an awesome Photographer Christina Wehbe last week. High Fashion Model shoots is not what LMP is known for, but it was a blast to do some “out of the box and out of my norm” photos! Its also always fun to shoot with another photographer, especially one who specializes in a field you normally don’t shoot.  Get the creative juices flowing! We had two sisters as models, Lauren and LeAnne and took to the streets of Downtown Glen Ellyn.  It was an unbelievably beautiful day, almost 70 degrees, unheard of for Chicago March weather! Brad and Kate tied the knot on Saturday March 7th at the Lodge in Starved Rock. We spent the entire day with them, and captured some awesome pictures. Brad and Kate are such a down to earth and fun couple, up for anything!! The entire bridal party was a blast…..such great friends, fun and full of life, the singing on the trolley alone made me laugh to tears! ( of course the trolley ride came after the stop at the bar:) I hope you enjoy part one of a two part post.

I love the expression on Brads face!! I think he was thinking “here we go, I am excited!!” They were both so happy to be getting married, and having so much fun with the day!

I had so much fun with Brad and Kate and the entire wedding party. The expressions alone in some of the pictures make me laugh out loud. We went to a little bar called Duffy’s and took over for a while, laughing, sharing stories and of course taking some fabulous photos– in the moment and not planned, the best kind! I love Brad’s green chuck taylors that he changed into for the reception. well, needless to say we all had a great time, I will post a sideshow soon, as there are so many great pics….I can’t put them all on the blog!

I was trying so hard not to laugh at the “crazy people” in the back window!! Kate and Bard had no idea:)

I had an engagement session with Anne and Brendan in October, on what I think  was the windy-est day of the season….but that did not stop us from exploring the city and taking some really fun and unique images. Challenges are fun and exciting!!! We started at Hotel Allegro in the loop and from there went to the Quincy El Stop…then headed out to La Salle Street, down to Millennium Park and over to the river and back to the loop for some final shots on State Street by the Chicago theater…..it was so fun fun to just wander around and see were the road…. and several taxi rides could take us….enjoy the images!!
