I had the most amazing time in Kalamazoo, Michigan at Kris and Cindy’s (aka Lucinda, aka Lucy;) wedding on August 20, 2010. Cindy and Kris attended Anne and Brendan’s wedding last October and loved the photos…hired me over the phone and we met to discuss the wedding in Kalamazoo this past spring during their engagement session. Right away, when I met Cindy and Kris I knew I was going to have an amazing time getting to know them and documenting their wedding day. They have so much love for each other, such kind and kindred hearts. I started the day at the salon with Cindy and the bridesmaids…getting pretty for the big day. Then we headed over to the Kalamazoo Country Club to finish getting ready for an amazing day ahead. Cindy and Kris had agreed that seeing each other before the ceremony, doing ALL the photos (wedding party and family included) and then relaxing and enjoying their wedding celebration was the best time line for their wedding day. We had SO much time for wonderful photo opportunities of Kris and Cindy, we even had time to take a ride to the fabulous and scenic downtown Kalamazoo to explore and find interesting places with extraordinary light for unbelievable photos! I had a blast! After a couple of hours of photos with Kris and Cindy, it was time for wedding party and family photos….then a quick rest in the AC before the romantic sunset ceremony, followed by a rockin party!
