Serena is a senior at Westmont High School, gradation in 2010 and going to college to study music education. I had a blast going around Fullersburg woods and then exploring downtown Westmont with Serena, getting to know her and hearing about all her plans after graduation. She was such a down-to-earth and sweet girl, with amazing green eyes. We explored the urban versus nature theme in her photos, finding some creative spots with fabulous light. Here are some of my favorites. Congratulation on your graduation next year Serena…I wish you the best!!

Heidi and Chris were married on October 10th, 2009, on the most beautiful fall day we had this year!! Heidi and Chris are such a sweet couple, you could feel the love in the air on the wedding day. We started with getting ready pics at the condo and then headed out to Aurora for the church ceremony. From there it was time for picture fun at the beautiful St Charles Country Club….and the the fun filled party. This wedding new how to have a great party, every one was tearing up the dance floor….it was a blast! Congratulations Heidi and Chris!! Here are some of my favorites, enjoy!!

Christine and Michael were married on October 9th at the beautiful Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont. It was a day full of fabulous smiles, not even a rain storm could stop this happy couple from smiling. We had a blast taking photos before the ceremony, the rain stopped during the ceremony which was perfect timing for the ceremonial dove release. We were blessed with great light for outdoor family photos and a more fun and creative bridal party photos and then the most beautiful sunset for some romantic photos of Michael and Christine. Then it was time to party! The reception was so beautiful, ever detail was planned by Michael and Kehoe Designs, where Michael works….simply stunning. Here are some of my favorites, enjoy!!

Anne and Brendan were married on October 3rd at the fabulous James Hotel in Chicago. What a fun couple!! Anne and Brendan met at a radio station in college, so they decided to have their first look at  Reckless Records in Chicago.  It was so suiting and so much fun!!! The t was off in a cab for some photo fun around the city, nothing was going to stop us…not even the rain. We did the bridal party photos in the beautiful Art Institute Gardens before heading back to the James for more photo fun and then a rest before the Ceremony…and then a lively and fun party with not a detail over looked. I had a great time with Anne and Brendan, here are some of my favorites from the day.

Vianna and Mark celebrated their wedding on September 26th. We had a full day of fabulous photos in the city, lots of fabulous locations over the course of 4 hours, before heading back out to the North west Burbs for the ceremony and reception festivities. Vianna and Mark wanted to break all the typical traditions and have fun with their pictures. We did a private first look between Vianna and Mark in Millennium park, then met up with the limo and Bridal Party for more photos at the Wrigley Building and surrounding loop and then off to Wicker Park for some urban off the wall photos.  It was a blast!! We got some great images, and some really cool urban-grungy images…love it! We arrived back out to the burbs with time to relax a bit before the sunset ceremony and then of course the party!! Thanks Vianna and Mark for including us as part of  your special day.  Here are some of my favorites…enjoy!

Jenny and Griffin were married at the beautiful historic Rialto Theater in Downtown Joliet on September 18th, 2009. This was a special wedding for me beacuse Jenny is my beautiful cousin. The wedding was a blast, even when things went a little bumpy, like the giant Latin Music festival going on the the park we were headed to for pictures. However anything that went a little off plan ended up making the day even better, and adding something more unique to the pictures! Jenny and Griff had their “first look” at the park and then we did all the photos before the ceremony and party began. The ceremony was truly unique, as it was on the theater’s stage, and then the party began…it was a blast!! I have to give a BIG thank you to the two assistant and secondary photographers that came with me to this big wedding, Christina and Misa, I couldn’t have captured all these fabulous moments with out you both!! Theresa and Dan were married on September 12, 2009 at a  beautiful church and Naperville. It was a perfect day for a wedding, the weather was amazing, such a gift for such a super sweet couple!! We traveled to Cantigny garden in Wheaton for photo fun. Cantigny is absolutely beautiful!! We explored for a couple hours of photos and then were off to the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club for more pictures and of course the party. We stopped for a quick photo in front of Mayslake, I was so excited to do a picture there, I have always wanted to and drive by the grounds nearly daily, it was a treat! The reception was a blast and I was laughing so much at the funny face everyone was making for the photobooth, great party. Here are some of my favorites, enjoy!!

Renee and Jeff are such a fun couple, I had a blast photographing their wedding at the beautiful Marriott in Burr Ridge. They had a perfect sunset ceremony and then we did some quick photos around the grounds of the Marriott. Everything was planned perfectly, and so many fabulous details. Once the party began, it was non stop laughter and dancing!! I had so much fun photographing this wedding, and have to give a great big thanks to the other fabulous vendors that helped make the night perfect!!
