I had a wonderful time getting to know the Habdas Family earlier in June, exploring Ty Warner Park and Fullersburg Woods in Oak Brook. Funny, we learned that we went to High school together….small world!! The Kids, “A” and “F” we so cute, and so easy to photograph…..and this family has the most amazing eyes. I love the picture of Mother and daughter, so lovely. Here are some of my favorites!! Enjoy!!
I spent an evening with Rachel and Craig in the early part of June for a mini engagement session in Lincoln Park. We explored the parks and found some really great little spots for some fun and romantic images. Unfortunately the Zoo was closed already, which was sad because it was only 6pm, however we found lots of fun and unique spaces around the zoo and surrounding streets. Here are some of my favorites, I look froward to Rachel and Craig’s wedding in Kalamazoo, MI in August!!
In May I had the opportunity to photography Nicole and Andy’s wedding with Clete Schroeder at Starved Rock at the beautiful Seneca Oak Ridge Country Club. Andy and Nicole were so cute and Andy, being a fireman, we had to get a fantastic shot by a bright red fire hydrant. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony. Sunny and warm, a perfect spring day. Here are some of my favorite images from Nicole and Andy’s special day….enjoy!!
Last weekend I had the fantastic opportunity to photograph Patricia and Chris with the amazing and fabulous photographer Deonna Caruso. Patrica and Chris had their wedding event at the Historic Avery Coonley School in Downers Grove, which was so cute and clever. All the details of the wedding related to school and were tied together so well. I had so much fun photographing the couple around the school grounds with Deonna, we had plenty of time to get creative and create some really amazing portraits for this super sweet couple. Here are some of my favorites, enjoy!!
In May I had a great opportunity to photograph a wedding with a friend and extraordinary Photographer Emily DeWan. (featured in the silly image above:) Carly and Dan are such a sweet couple, they were married at the Armour House which is a beautiful setting and part of the historical Lake Forest Academy. Everything about there wedding was very classy and beautifully done….and then the party started, and this party was rockin, so much fun to photograph everyone having such a great time dancing the night away!! Here are my favorites……Enjoy!!
I had a blast taking some photos of “E” and “E” last week, they have grown so much since last summer!! …and the newest addition to the family, baby “J” who unfortunately was catching some important zzzz’s during my visit. We did some family portraits with mom and dad before going outside for some fun portraits in the yard. I just love “E” pig-tails….what a scream:) Here are a few of my favorites!!
I had so much fun exploring the Walter Payton Roundhouse out in Aurora with Penny and David for their engagement session. It is going to be a fabulous location for their wedding day, I am looking forward to all the fun places we found for wedding day pictures. From the RH we went to the Morton Arboretum in Lisle for some more intimate portraits, and some fun portraits with Davids daughter. The weather was perfect, and scheduling the session in the fantastic evening sunlight made for some really romantic images. Here are a few of my favorites…enjoy!!
LMP is excited to say the first launch of Boudoir sessions in May were a hit and absolutely fabulous!! I am offering a session series in July. Can’t make the July date, but still interested?? Drop me a line and I can add you to my Boudoir list and you will be notified first the next session series. I will be offering a series of sessions again in the fall and winter!! Please let me know when you are interested in having a session, this helps me plan additional sessions. Want to schedule a session outside the promo date, no problem! WHY: So….What is boudoir??
Boudoir is French for a woman’s bedroom or a private sitting room. LMP Boudoir Sessions typically take place in a hotel room or other intimate setting. This allows us to create classy images that can be soft, romantic, and sexy.. The main focus of a boudoir photographer is to capture you in the most flattering way by guiding you through the poses that compliment your body type.
Why have a boudoir session??
To surprise your special someone with some fabulous photos in a super sexy custom album. It’s a perfect wedding present…..many of our boudoir sessions are a secret surprise for the hubby to be, left for him to enjoy the night before “the big day.” It’s a perfect for a Valentines day gift for couples….what better way to spice things up then to have some super hot pictures of you looking amazing in a custom designed album!! Or just simply because it fun!! Every women is beautiful in her own special way, every session is unique to each woman’s personality and style.
**To respect client privacy, and to not spoil the big surprise for many of the grooms-to-be, I will not be posting boudoir sessions on my blog regularly. Please view my blog to see a few samples that a client agreed I could use to promote the launch of this new genre of portrait sessions. I love photographing children, especially when I return each year and see how the children have grown since our last portrait “play-time” session. Last week I got to spend sometime playing with “K”. She showed me all her favorite friends……her fabulous collections of stuffed animals, currently her favorite is the goat…too silly. She also had to take plenty of pictures of me…..pausing just long enough for me to snap a few of her. I just love the series of precious portraits above….”K” makes the best faces, tooooo cute. She is so excited to be a big sister now, as we also had to spend sometime playing with “B”, the newest addition to the family. Here are a few of my favorites….Enjoy!!
