Last weekend I got to experience a new place for an engagement session…which is always so much fun, I love exploring new places!! Courtney and Mike live out in the Bartlett area and wanted to have a session in the area that they grew up, met and started dating in. We went exploring in a forest preserve and found some very cool train tracks……kinda lead to an urban versus nature theme ( I love when sessions take on a life of their own:) …we also went for ice cream to talk about their wedding in August at the Brookfield Zoo. Here are some of my favorites….enjoy!!
I spent the afternoon with Ashley and Vinnie, downtown for their engagement session last week. Vinnie works at Wrigley and both Ashley and Vinnie are die-hard Cubs fans….we started at Wrigley Field. The weather was perfect for a day at the beach, so we jumped in my convertible and headed for North Ave beach…..a change form our original plans, and had a blast goofing around and enjoying the weather. I look forward to thier wedding out in the burbs this Halloween. Here are some of my favs…..enjoy!!

It is always a pleasure to be asked by friends to photograph such important moments in their lives. One of my best friends is having a her first baby and wanted to send some pictures to family who live far away of her pregnancy. I stopped by and we did a mini session Saturday, and will be doing a full session in a few months when she is in her third trimester…..being a down to earth and very nature oriented person, we decided to opt for some lifestyle portraits in Maggie’s beautiful garden. I love her fun purple flowers, perfectly round….much like the belly!! Too fun!! 
I had a wonderful time with Michelle and Ray at the Arboretum in Lisle for their engagement session. Everything at the Arboretum is so green and lush….my favorite color, and I learned it was Michelle’s as well. Michelle and Ray are such a super sweet couple, down to Earth and easy going. I am so looking forward to their beautiful wedding this August out in the Batavia area!!
I met up with Vianna and Mark for their engagement session in Wicker Park and the Museum Campus last week. I was super excited to photograph this super sweet and fun couple riding their matching vintage bikes…a past time they enjoy doing together. We arrived at museum campus with just minutes before a thunderstorm…..but the sky was perfect for some fabulous skyline images and some amazing flowering trees. Vianna and Mark were such troopers, we even did some pics in the rain by some perfect tulips at Soldier field, all before running back to the cars….me soaking wet, protecting my precious baby (aka camera) from the rain with my jacket….. . I love how fun the pictures are….and I am looking forward to making an engagement book for this fabulous couple!! Here are my favorites for our session, enjoy!!

In April, I went out to Crete for Cortney and Ryan’s Engagement session. I love all the cool color tones in their session…..all my favorite colors, the green wall is fabulous!! We had fun going to a park where Cortney and Ryan went on one of their first dates, many moons ago….then went to the historic downtown Crete area for some last minute photos before the rain storm came our way. I had such a great time hanging out and getting to know Cortney and Ryan, I look forward to their wedding in mid July…….only a short time from now:)
In April, I spent a awesome Friday night with Alison and Chris in Downtown Naperville, on the river walk for their engagement session. It was such a beautiful evening!! We had some fun exploring this quaint downtown area, and finding some fun areas to take pictures at. Alsion and I love the last image (the one with the horse)….they were being so silly, and fun…I am looking forward to thier wedding in four short weeks, I know it will be a blast!!!
In April, LMP did it’s first boudoir weekend at a hip and urban Chicago hotel….it was a great success (not to mention I had some very beautiful clients!!) and LMP will be offering full sessions and special mini sessions.
