“Bollywood” ~ A photo session at the Garfield Park Conservatory

0048

WOW!! So I joined this fabulous photography group called Females in Focus– it is a group of Chicago area women photographers from all different backgrounds who get together to talk about photography and do some fun photo sessions– I attended my first “shooting outing” this weekend called “Bollywood”  at the Garfield Park Conservatory. We had three fantastic models, Carolyn, Janessa and Eva to work with and a great backdrop (or giant light box:) of the Conservatory. The light was extraordinary, we were so lucky to have such great sunlight!! Here are a few of my favorites– check out my facebook (Laura Meyer Photography) site to see more fabulous photos!!

Thanks Veronica:)

It was more of a “shoot out” then a learning lesson, if people had questions they just asked other peers in the group. I used my 24-70 and 70-200 2.8 lenses on my nikon D300, I did not use flash the light was amazing!!

These pictures are beautiful. On the shoot did you guys talk about camera settings for the lighting situation? What lenses did you use for these pics?

thanks, in advance for the info.
