Lisa and Matt marked my last wedding of the year, and we had a blast running around–trying to stay warm — out at Staved Rock. It was fun, I loved that they made a sign for their holiday cards..too cute! It was a beautiful wedding with lots of holiday twinkle lights and festive decor. A great way to end 2008 wedding season, and a perfect way for me to wish you all the best this holiday season!! See you next year!!!

I had an engagement session with Anne and Brendan in October, on what I think was the windy-est day of the season….but that did not stop us from exploring the city and taking some really fun and unique images. Challenges are fun and exciting!!! We started at Hotel Allegro in the loop and from there went to the Quincy El Stop…then headed out to La Salle Street, down to Millennium Park and over to the river and back to the loop for some final shots on State Street by the Chicago theater…..it was so fun fun to just wander around and see were the road…. and several taxi rides could take us….enjoy the images!! Kristen and Gabe were married in Batavia, on November 8th, 2008. We braved the brisk weather temps and went to this lovely forest preserve park called Fabyan Park on the Fox River in Batavia. It was beautiful, enjoy!!

Korey and Kevin were married in September, In November Korey and Kevin decided to do a mini trash the dress or Bridal session. We met at the Indiana Dunes State Park on a very brisk November day, because of the temperature we only managed to shoot for a half hour, but we did get some stunning Fall Color images…..enjoy!!
I was super excited to photograph Theresa and Dan at Lincoln Park in October. It was fun to explore the Lincoln Park area with this fun couple. I just love the emotion and laughter that took place during the session, it really shows through in the photography. I look forward to their wedding next September!!
I recently was second shooting for a friend of mine, Deonna Caruso at Evelyn and Steve’s wedding in the south burbs. It was so much fun, but a really cold evening. We did a few photos outside before heading inside. The church was really tiny, but allowed for some creative and interesting images to take place. I really love the first photo…with the amazing red door….enjoy!!

Melissa and Kevin were married on October 25th in the South Suburbs of Palos. All day we managed to dodge the rain and captured some really great images……they also had the BIGGEST limo I had ever seen…..much like a semi truck. What a fun bunch, we had a lot of great laughs while taking the photos…enjoy!!

In November I had the opportunity to meet the newest edition to my friend’s family, Baby Sophia. Such a little angel who loves the twinkle lights of Christmas, and is luck enough to have a mini tree in her nursery!! I look forward to taking more pictures in the spring as we watch her grow!!
