On December 1st I had an Engagement Session with Pam and Ron. I will be photographing their wedding this coming May at Monifori in Lemont. We decided to do a cityscape for the engagement session because Pam and Ron enjoy the city and may be moving to the Suburbs after they are married. We were also playing on the idea of a couple looking off into the distance at what the future has to hold, which is a great idea, especially for engagement photographs. We braved it out, despite the cold….and as soon as we were finished shooting the snow flurries started and soon filled the sky. On my way home from the city I could no longer see the buildings as Chicago’s winter storm set. I had so much fun photographing this great couple, and look forward their beautiful wedding day!! Congratulations, Catherine and Tom on the birth of your beautiful baby girl, Gianna. It was such a wonderful experience to take photographs of Gianna at one week old. Gianna is Catherine and tom’s first child. She is also my brother John and my sister in law Kristin’s God Daughter, as well as the first grandchild for Ted and Bonnie Mooney, what a wonderful addition to the family:) I look forward to watching her grow.

These images are photographs of my good friend Thomas Ricci’s portfolio from 2007, including a series painted on glass panels…..needless to say he very talented…….These are my two favorites. Chicago is going to miss you, Thomas, when you go to school out East next year!!

I had the wonderful experience of photographing Lauren for the second time this year…..This time in the fall, playing in the leaves with Mom and Dad……..What a great time!!

Thanks Cande and Cassie for taking a trip to the Arboretum with me….it was great to walk around on one of the last nice days of fall, taking pictures and having fun…….

….and not to forget throwing the leaves around:)
